ChoiceA.com is free because we feel that the current and historical method of marketing and purchasing real estate is dated. The Internet exists, so we feel that people should take advantage of its tools. The service, and the concept of ChoiceA is new - the best way to create a comfort level and gain credibility when introducing something new is to make it a free service. If we have succeeded in our vision to build this site intuitively and with a keen eye watching out for the consumer, then we believe there will be a groundswell of opinion that ChoiceA is better than choice b. Tired of waiting for couriers to push the paperwork between buyer and seller?.....here we encourage email as a medium of communication.
We can't guarantee it will always be free, but for the foreseeable future (probably years) we expect it to be free. Someday, we may charge a nominal fee, but we'll do our best to keep it free. There will be plenty of notice given far in advance if or when we decide to charge for our service, but even then it would be a tiny fraction of the cost of the traditional model.
Certainly our goal is to be a consumer-facing business. But it is our intent to build a business atop the introductions that we provide rather than charging for the introductions themselves. Many of the historic offline tasks are being moved online and are now performed by the property owner themselves. Ultimately, we feel that
a few select sites will collectively provide property owners the confidence to market their own homes.
